How to use the fly: When I use my flies I like to keep them 14 to 18 inches above a TNT slab or a Moes Tackle slab. I also tie them above a humdinger for when they are on top. For the Humdinger i keep the fly 12 inches above. My dad and I were introduced to the Dropper Loop knot which has been the most successful way of the fish not breaking off.
